FUMES really impressed me with the demo, and now you can jump in and blow some vehicles up in this fast-paced single-player car combat game. The demo was recently updated too and works great with Proton.

The initial release comes with quite a lot of content including 12 cars, 12 weapons, 3 giant bosses, 12 mini bosses, 3 different types of anomalies to discover and more. FUMES is very much a game like the classics both in terms of style and gameplay, reminds me of a lot of similar games I played back in the days of the original PlayStation.

The roadmap they've shared has lots of goodies planned for the game too. More activities and racing modes, melee combat, engine swapping, more exploration, more end-game content, a full proper story and much more. We might also see it get mod support and online co-op but they're not promising those.

It's seriously ace, you should grab it.

Looks fun, reminds me a bit of the Twisted Metal days. No multiplayer as of yet is a bit of a bummer.

I loved Carmageddon back in the 90s. This looks cool and could fill a bit the void which the non-existent new entries for Carmageddon left.
