The new Swords & Souls Legacy Collection from SoulGame Studio brings five Flash classics back with a Steam release. I'm sure a fair few readers will remember these, I certainly do. Now playable properly on modern systems in full-screen 16:9 for the first time.

Each title in the Swords & Souls Legacy Collection offers a unique spin on action, adventure, and humour, all tied together by SoulGame Studio’s trademark charm and the unifying ‘Souls’ theme. While there isn’t a single overarching storyline across the five titles, each game features its own distinct world, characters and gameplay style.

The games included are:

Swords & Souls

In this iconic RPG-training hybrid, design your Soul from the ground up, train them in skill-based mini-games, and prove your mettle in the deadly Arena. Hone reflexes, level up abilities, and unlock powerful gear as you face increasingly tougher foes and rise through the ranks. With charming animations, quirky humor, and deep character progression, Swords & Souls stands tall as a Flash-era legend, and now it's back, better than ever.

Rogue Soul

Become the most wanted rogue in this fast-paced action-runner where style is everything. Sprint, slide, and slash your way through city rooftops and dodge enemy patrols as you collect loot and grow your notoriety. With responsive controls, acrobatic moves, and an ever-expanding list of treasures to uncover, Rogue Soul delivers a thrilling blend of precision and personality. Robbing from the rich has never been this slick.

Rogue Soul 2

The rogue returns, bigger, faster, and more dangerous. Rogue Soul 2 builds on everything that made the original great with sprawling environments, new enemy types, powerful upgrades, and challenging boss encounters. As you explore vast new areas filled with traps, treasures, and secrets, you’ll unlock cosmetic gear, complete quests, and perfect your rogue’s moveset.

The Soul Driver

Buckle up for mayhem in The Soul Driver, a high-octane chase game where you're a fugitive with nothing to lose. Customize your ride, take on daring challenges, and smash through 42 miles of chaos as you flee an increasingly desperate police force. From roadblocks and helicopters to comically intense upgrades, this game delivers nonstop laughs and thrills. Can you make it to the border before the law catches up?

The Gentleman

Put your monocle on and prepare for refined platforming. In The Gentleman, gravity is just a suggestion as you gently stroll, leap, and float through clever puzzle-platformer levels using nothing but your umbrella and wit. This elegantly tricky title is packed with head-scratching levels and stylish charm. With its dashing hero and unique mechanics, it’s a love letter to players who like their challenges served with sophistication.

Swords & Souls is a rather enjoyable grindfest classic, if you can stomach grinding all the grinds.

Check out SoulGame's Minishoot' Adventures from last year. Excellent game, with a fairly long demo on Steam.

Dunno if comment links are allowed, but it's part of the "SoulGame Bundle" on the Steam page above.
