eXtremeRate emailed out an exciting new Steam Deck accessory. It's a new back shell design, with back buttons you can easily swap.

They're up for pre-order priced at either $29.99 or $31.99 depending on the colour you go for. The idea of buttons you can easily swap sounds good, as you might want different sizes on each of them depending on how you're going to use them, and how long your fingers are. And, the colours just look really cool too.

Colours include black, frosted white, clear, clear slate and clear atomic purple.

Must admit, even though nowadays I don't really do any mods on either of my Steam Decks, this actually has me tempted. The colours look awesome, and I do love the button customization to make them just a little bit more comfortable for my tiny hands.

The only thing they haven't made clear is the release date. They say it's up for pre-order in the email to GamingOnLinux, their website says pre-order but they also say ready to ship with no dates listed. So — sometime soon.

See their website for info.

Do those buttons fit inside the deck carrying case ?

They look cool though.
