Retro Windows style as a survivor-like action roguelite? Antivirus Survivors 2003 Professional is giving me hilarious nostalgia.

Releasing sometime in early 2026, it gets you to dive into your infested family computer to beat off viruses and malware with an "arsenal of nostalgic Y2K-inspired weapons". With a style that resembles the old Windows XP, it genuinely looks like a lot of fun — and you can even download more RAM!

From the Steam page: "In Antivirus Survivors 2003 Professional, dive headfirst into a corrupted file browser where rogue viruses run wild and your cursor fights back. Traverse through folders as you dodge obstacles, fight malware, and scramble around pop-ups. Consider a multitude of weapon combinations, search for XP and apply the rarest upgrades to create the best chance of survival against treacherous waves of danger."

Seems like the standard experience of Windows XP doesn't it? Hilarious.

  • Navigate a corrupted file browser, jumping between infected folders and double-clicking suspicious programs but beware, some clicks bring chaos
  • Endure escalating waves of infected enemies and hold out long enough to avoid the blue screen of death

  • Designed for big or small screens, keyboards or controllers. Play it your way!
