NVIDIA have now put down a date of September 10 for the GeForce NOW upgrade to Blackwell RTX, to bring more power to their cloud gaming service. Announced last month during Gamescom here's a reminder of some bits of the upgrade coming.

With GeForce RTX 5080-powered streaming to GeForce NOW, you'll get access to NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation for up to 5K streaming at 120 FPS and up to 360 FPS at 1080p. Along with that there's the new Cinematic Quality Streaming mode to improve clarity too.

On top of that there's improved device support for 90 FPS on Steam Deck and 4k 120 FPS on the Lenovo Legion Go S. Plus expanded support for peripherals like Logitech racing wheels. Sadly though, Desktop Linux PCs are still limited with lower resolutions and bitrates.

They've also announced these games officially coming to the service across this month:

  • Hell Is Us (New release on Steam, Advanced Access on Sept. 1, general availability Sept. 4)
  • METAL EDEN (New release on Steam, Sept. 2)
  • Hollow Knight: Silksong (New release on Steam and Xbox, available on PC Game Pass, Sept. 4)
  • Cataclismo (New release on Xbox, available on PC Game Pass, Sept. 4)
  • Cronos: The New Dawn (New release on Steam, Advanced Access Sept. 3, general availability Sept. 5)
  • Firefighting Simulator: Ignite (New release on Steam, Sept. 9)
  • Borderlands 4 (New release on Steam and Epic Games Store, Sept. 11)
  • Fata Deum – The God Sim (New release on Steam, Sept. 15)
  • Dying Light: The Beast (New release on Steam, Sept. 19)
  • Jump Space (New release on Steam, Sept. 19)
  • Warborne Above Ashes (New release on Steam, Sept. 19)
  • ENDLESS Legend 2 (New release on Steam, Sept. 22)
  • Baby Steps (New release on Steam, Sept. 23)
  • Aztecs: The Last Sun (New release on Steam, Sept. 23)
