The GOG store is celebrating a 17th anniversary and so they've launched a big sale, along with announcing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is now available.

Nice to see another big game release arrive on GOG with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which has proven popular seeing as it has an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam from over 100,000 users. It's also 10% off on the GOG store until October 9th.

Just a small slice of some of the deals going right now:

Thief Bundle - 86% off

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - 80% off

DOOM (2016) - 80% off

Cyberpunk 2077 - 65% off

System Shock (remake) - 63% off

Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition - 60% off

DREDGE - 50% off

GOG's anniversary sale celebration ends on October 7th, 7 AM UTC. Each day there's going to be some sort of little surprise. See all on their big sale page.

Something I feel should be celebrated, competition in all markets like this is vital to prevent full monopolies. And, GOG's stance on sticking to DRM-free is great. Hopefully they will stick around for another 17 years.

While it's a shame that Galaxy still isn't supported for GNU/Linux, GOG's anti-DRM stance still makes them one of my go-tos for games. Itch is better with both a lack of DRM _and_ GNU/Linux support for their launcher... but the low quality of games (and vast quantities of Action 52 type stuff) on there plus problems with creators not getting paid their due in a timely manner makes me a bit bullish on it.

Instabuy as I was hoping for it to show up one day.

While Steam-like service and client would be nice the stuff from GOG work fine with HGL and Lutris.
So I buy everithing on GOG as long as it is available there and I don't want multiplayer service or achievements.

Same here.

Wonder if their new Dreamlist is having an impact with publishers/developers, or if it would have happened anyway. Yes, Your Grace 2 also made it to GOG just the previous week.

Looks like GOG plan a bunch of surprise releases every day.

Happy birthday GOG! May the flow of drm-free-and-standalone-installer-games-without-those-nasty-always-online-requirements be plentiful.

GOG don't care about Linux nor Linux users. Zoom Platform is a much better option https://www.zoom-platform.com [External Link] -Linux client and all too.
In this sale, GOG releases from DRM one game per day... There will be TEN NEW games more.
