Dino Run 2 is finally actually happening, with the latest Kickstarter aiming to get enough funds to make it ready for Early Access. They've tried funding it a few times before, which I covered in the previous article for a little background on what's been happening.
What is it? A "hyper-evolved" (whatever that means…) pixel-art platformer with single-player and online multiplayer. Players race against extinction in detailed prehistoric biomes. You get to choose from a roster of specialised dinos, and customise their look with a deep library of cosmetic mods while escaping the unstoppable doom wall.
The Kickstarter campaign has a goal of $10,000 which was surpassed in only a few hours, so they should hopefully have no problems getting the game ready now. Backers of it will get access to the multiplayer sandbox version which is already live.
