If you were interested in Cronos: The New Dawn but weren't sold on picking it up yet, you can now try the demo that's recently released. The demo actually released earlier this week, but Steam only just today sent me a notification to say it's available. Bit of a delay there.
More about it: Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.
Unlike the full version, there's only a Windows build of the Cronos: The New Dawn demo. It doesn't have a Native Linux version for it, but it does have one for the full game which was released to improved it on the Steam Deck. The developer,
Bloober Team, never did reply to GamingOnLinux when we asked what improvements they actually put in for the Steam Deck.

Nice to see demos make such a big comeback over the last few years, which we partly have Valve to thank for all the Steam Next Fest events that really bring attention to trying out games before buying them. Hopefully we'll see this continue, especially with the absolute onslaught of games being recently constantly — developers need more ways to hook players in and a demo is a good way.
The demo for Cronos: The New Dawn gives you the first ~30-40 minutes of the game and saves transfer to the full package.
