Valve just updated Proton Experimental for Linux / SteamOS and Steam Deck with the October 7th update bringing fixes for various games.
This will show up as an update in your Steam Downloads if you already have it installed. You can also select to install it from your Steam Library to set on games individually, or it will install automatically if Valve have it set on a game by default. Noted to be now playable:
- Surgeon Simulator: Experience Reality
- Changeling VR
- Summoners War: RUSH
Other fixes:
- Fixed Sony controllers not working in God of War: Ragnarok on Steam Deck in handheld mode.
- Fixed The Quarry not being playable on OLED Steam Decks.
- Fixed Far Cry 5 showing old GPU drivers warning with AMD gpus.
- Fixed HDR in Far Cry 5 on OLED Steam Decks.
- Fixed For Honor not starting on non-Steam Decks.
