Something is definitely happening in Valve land, as the KOMODO Steam Deck Store is being renamed KOMODO STATION tomorrow, November 13th.
For those not clued up — KOMODO are the official distributor of the Steam Deck for Asian markets including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. We've seen many leaks over the years about Valve preparing a new VR kit, along with the recent Steam Frame trademark.
All signs are pointing to an official Valve announcement to come really soon.
From the announcement:
Thank you very much for using our store.
We are pleased to announce that the “KOMODO Steam Deck Store” will be renewed as “KOMODO STATION” on November 13, 2025.
Along with this renewal, the store’s URL will change as follows:
Old Store:
KOMODO Steam Deck Store
URL: https://steamdeck.komodo.jp/
New Store:
KOMODO STATION
URL: https://komodostation.com/
Please note that customers who have registered or used the old store can continue to use their account information in the new store.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support.
At this point, what else could it be? Apart from the Steam Controller 2 as well perhaps. Or, KOMODO perhaps getting into supply hardware from other vendors, that's also entirely possible.
If it is the Steam Frame, I expect it to be a new VR kit powered by SteamOS with Proton supported on Arm to run games from other VR sets. Another possibly huge step for Linux gaming overall. There's a lot of excitement building up here.
