PayPalOne of the biggest events of the year for game developers is here, with the nominations now open for the 2025 Steam Awards. If you ever check your Steam News feed, you might already know - as developers and publishers have been practically spamming announcements out to get people to vote.
You have until December 1st to get nominating your favourites across these categories:
- Game of the Year
- VR Game of the Year
- Labor of Love
- Best Game on Steam Deck
- Better with Friends
- Outstanding Visual Style
- Most Innovative Gameplay
- Best Game You Suck At
- Best Soundtrack
- Outstanding Story-Rich Game
- Sit Back & Relax
Valve will be giving out a profile badge if you nominate a game in at least one category, with the badge being levelled up by nominating in every category, playing them and putting up a user review.
You will be able to vote for the finalists starting December 18th.
Head over to Steam to start nominating your faves.
