Ubisoft have confirmed that The Crew Motorfest will be bumped up to Steam Deck Verified with the arrival of Season 8 on November 5th.

Currently, Valve have it rated as Steam Deck Unsupported but Valve's rating for it is a little bit outdated. The game does already work, even with the BattleEye anti-cheat that it has and especially with a previous Proton Experimental update that improved it further.

In a blog post on the Ubisoft website the developers noted:

Get ready to join the Motorfest with no strings (or wires) attached, because The Crew Motorfest will be Steam Deck verified on November 5!

They don't go into detail on what exact improvements they're making.

A major new feature will be coming to the next season with the Friend Pass. This allows anyone with a full copy of the game to invite up to three friends with a trial version without any time limits. Pretty nice.

Annoyingly, they haven't yet enabled the anti-cheat with The Crew 2, which recently gained a hybrid offline mode. Since they've done it for The Crew Motorfest, hopefully The Crew 2 isn't too far behind on that.
