GOG have announced today that as part of the 25th anniversary of the series, four classic Total War games are now on GOG in their Preservation Program. More are coming as well, this is just the start of their DRM-free expansion on GOG.
The titles newly available as part of the GOG Preservation Program are:
- Rome: Total War – Collection
- SHOGUN: Total War – Collection
- Medieval: Total War – Collection
- Total War: MEDIEVAL II – Definitive Edition
All four of them are also discounted.

Later, with dates no mentioned, these will also be arriving on GOG:
- Total War: PHARAOH DYNASTIES
- Total War: ROME II – Emperor Edition
- Total War: THREE KINGDOMS
- Total War: ATTILA
Nice to see such a big series bring more titles to GOG. Great for gamers to have more competition between stores. Choice is a wonderful thing.

Was never a fan or ever played these games however now offered DRM-Free I will eventually buy them in time. It seems the Warhammer ones are all missing, licensing issue maybe?

Impossible, since they recently changed that owning Warhammer 1 / 2 gives you free access to Warhammer 3 (limited to the factions of Warhammer 1 / 2 you own), therefore they always need to sell all 3 games on the same platform.
