The Mesa team have released Mesa 25.3.2 as the latest bug-fix release for the current main stable branch of open source Linux graphics drivers.

Writing in a release announcement developer Dylan Baker said:

Our regularly scheduled 25.3.2 release has been available since yesterday. Due to technical issues on my end, I couldn't send this message yesterday.

We have cleanups and fixes across the tree, Panfrost/Panvk, Radv, and ANV were the three biggest sources of patches this cycle. All and all this was a very nice cycle.

I'd like to thank the various developers who helped backport patches to the stable tree this cycle.

The next release is planned for new years eve. I plan to make that happen. I will not be available much over the next few weeks due to the Christmas holiday, however.

Bug fixes highlighted from the release page:

  • [bisected][iris] - Celeste - Lighting artifacts during gameplay.
  • [bsw][regression][bisected][hasvk] various crashing tests.
  • radv: incorrect vectorization of 8-bit/16-bit causes random GPU hangs with DXVK.
  • LLVM crashes when loading specific Minecraft Shaderpacks.
  • Firefox crashes in some Gallium drivers since mesa 25.3.0.
  • radv: Is radv_wsi_get_prime_blit_queue bugged?
  • radv: don’t include constant data in RGP captures.
  • [anv] mpv video playback blacks out when resized larger than video resolution.
  • corrupted video when using pRefList0ModOperations on radv h264.
  • [radv] [feature request] Add an env var to not expose resizable bar to app.
  • Steam Deck/9060 XT Consistently hang with game demo “Cursemark”.

25.3.0/1 had a bug that forced me to downgrade to 25.2.7 if I wanted to use SteamVR, so let's hope that one's fixed too.
