One missed from earlier in the week with the onslaught of news - Mounts of Mayhem released for Minecraft as the latest major update for the popular sanbox game. Main highlights include:

  • Added the Nautilus and the Zombie Nautilus mobs.
  • Added Nautilus Armor.
  • Added the Camel Husk mob.
  • Added the Parched mob.
  • Added Spear weapons.
  • Zombie Horses now spawn naturally.
  • Added new graphical options "Texture Filtering" and "Anisotropic Filtering".
  • Added Netherite Horse Armor that can be obtained by upgrading Diamond Horse Armor using a Smithing Table.

They're also working to improve modding for everyone, with obfuscation being removed as covered here on GamingOnLinux previously. There's an experimental version of this available now too but it needs a few manual steps.
