Riding the wave of more cozy games, developer Dry Cactus (Poly Bridge series) is working on their next game titled Poly Bricks that will come to Linux. They originally described it as a "cozy, creative brick-building game" that's "designed to capture the joy of building sets on your bedroom floor".

This was actually revealed back in June, which no doubt plenty of people missed (I certainly did). In the Steam forum in reply to a question on Linux support the developer just this week said:

Yes we do plan on having a build available for Linux (and Mac), we haven't gotten to testing other platforms yet but should be fairly easy to achieve

More about it (from Steam):

Build, design, and share — brick by brick.

  • Assemble beautiful sets and unlock new designs as you progress through the different themes of increasing complexity.
  • Team up with friends and build together with real-time online multiplayer.
  • Let your imagination run wild with the Sandbox — design your own builds, optionally creating step-by-step instructions, and upload your creations to the Workshop.
  • Browse and download other people's creations on the Workshop.
  • Customize your library by importing custom 3d models for bricks and images for stickers to make your builds truly unique.

Not having an automatic daily build of them and testing them at least from time to time does sound like the recipe for "Oops, it didn't work out!"
