Plague Inc: Evolved is a game about infecting the world by evolving a deadly global plague, and now there's new ways to play it.

A major free update just landed with the Outbreak Mode that adds in Daily Outbreaks, giving you the chance to see something new every 24 hours with different starting bonuses, origin countries and more. There's also new Unique Mutators that bring unique modifiers that will "fundamentally change both your plague and the world".

It's such a strangely absorbing game. Just interesting to see how things spread, and cause a little chaos. Good fun if you're in the mood for a different type of strategy game.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed description for Rice trait in the Mad Cow Disease scenario
  • Fixed mutation issues with Dairy and Beef traits in the Mad Cow Disease scenario

There is an odd bug in the game where a whole bunch of text may be missing which appears to be an issue with resolutions. The game started for me on the lowest resolution possible, and when switching to the correct resolution it didn't fix it. But a restart did. Something to keep in mind if you're going to jump in.
