The results are in - Bullet Heaven moves forward to be an official genre

The results are in, game developers look to move forward to create Bullet Heaven as an official genre spawned from Vampire Survivors.

You know it by now I'm sure — all these survivor-like reverse bullet hell games that appeared rapidly over the last few years. There's Vampire Survivors that started it now there's the likes of Brotato, Yet Another Zombie Survivors (from Awesome Games Studio), Megabonk, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, The Spell Brigade, Achilles: Survivor, Soulstone Survivors and no doubt tons you've never heard of.

Well, to settle on an actual name for this genre, Awesome Games Studio did a poll recently and after 8,023 responses the winner was clear, it's going to be Bullet Heaven.

Now they just need Valve / Steam to get on board with the idea, and give it an official category like many others on Steam have. What you can do to help settle it once and for all, is add your own Bullet Heaven Steam tag to various games, which should show Valve there's a need for it.
