The first bug fix release of 2026 for the open source graphics drivers Mesa is here with Mesa 25.3.3 out now.

Writing in the release announcement developer Dylan Baker noted "This release is a little lighter than normal due to many developers celebrating holidays". Here's the main highlights on fixes:

  • iris: OpenGL: GL_ARB_texture_cube_map: Broken reflections in Unreal Tournament 2004
  • Ghost of Tsushima page fault
  • Ethos gallium driver does not build on 32bit
  • v3d: Build fails when ENABLE_SHADER_CACHE is disabled due to unconditional disk_cache access
  • es1-ABI-check and es2-ABI-check test fails
  • [ANV][Slab][Low-ram] GPU fragmentation in low-memory device when turning on slab.
  • GL_AMD_framebuffer_multisample_advanced freezes the whole system
  • panvk: fau compute bug

Oh, nice, it also has that fix for what broke SteamVR in earlier 25.3.x versions. I'll be able to unpin the mesa packages, then.
