Along with an update on Season 2 of SPLITGATE: Arena Reloaded that's due out March 27th, 1047 Games teased a new movement shooter is in the works.
This was revealed towards the end of their "Splitgate Season 2, Races & Studio Updates!" video from March 23rd where CEO Ian Proulx mentioned "I just want to give the community a heads up. We've had a small section of the team start working on a new game in addition to Splitgate, I'm not here to share too much about that but what I will say is that it's a movement shooter and if you're a fan of games like Titanfall and Black Ops 3 we would love to hear from you". Proulx also mentioned they are asking people to sign up to test it.
Considering how much they've fumbled Splitgate, are you going to trust 1047 Games? Mentioning the likes of Titanfall is probably not the best of ideas. But we'll have to wait and see.
As for Season 2 of SPLITGATE: Arena Reloaded you can see the trailer below:

SPLITGATE: Arena Reloaded has anti-cheat but it works on Linux / SteamOS systems.
That said, the new season looks to be possibly the most promising thing they've shown off for this game, but I guess we'll see if it's enough before they potentially abandon ship, again.
