The multiplayer update features a co-op mode where up to 4 players can blast through the entire campaign together, including New Game+. A unique deathmatch mode lets players create custom game modes and battle with randomly generated weapons. The update also introduces new elite enemies, 15 new "shiny" weapon variants with unique mechanics, a new skill tree, a new minigame, and a pile of bug fixes and gameplay improvements - bringing the total weapon count to 99 unique weapons with thousands of possible randomized effects and stat combinations.
