I hesitate to use the term "friendslop" but The Road seems to fit in nicely with the recent rise of online co-op games and actually looks good fun.

A co-op horror road trip where your car is your only lifeline. Drive with friends to abandoned locations, grab what you can, and escape before creatures, anomalies, or your own bad decisions leave you stranded. Then travel back to the nearest run-down motel to drop-off the haul and collect your reward. Sounds like it may be good fun with the right crew.

Coming from Not Doppler they mentioned over email: "For the last 14 years our studio was focused on building car games for mobile, where we amassed over 300 million downloads. But we've had a long desire to build games for PC, and The Road will be our first in-house developed Steam release".
