Sol Cesto remains as one of the weirdest games I discovered during 2025 (but also very cool), and it's about to hit the big 1.0 release. They've confirmed it's set to launch on April 10th, after just recently launching another content update but they won't be releasing any more updates until the final release now.

A game that hooked me in with the thoroughly weird setting and style back in mid 2025, and it has grown a lot since then. I love how it turns the idea of a roguelite dungeon crawler into something a little bit like a monster-filled slot machine, but you're gambling with your life instead of money as you directly drop into the squares to engage in combat or collect items and money. As you explore deeper into the dungeon you'll also be pulling out magical teeth from statues to change your odds.

It's thoroughly weird, incredibly unique and really does absorb your attention.
