Just a bit of a PSA here for anyone diving into Minecraft modding, as recently there's been a problem on both CurseForge and Bukkit with malware.

One I missed recently that you should check out: Black Reliquary is a free total conversion mod for the original Darkest Dungeon, and it's available now with a whole lot of content to play through.

There's been a few efforts to get Half-Life: Alyx playable without VR and the latest is HLA-NoVR, out now and it's now possible to play it through, even on Steam Deck too.

Half-Life: MMod just released on Steam, a mod for the original Half-Life that overhauls many parts of it to create something that feels fresh.

Back when I first played through Quake: The Offering I found that I enjoyed the two mission packs even more than I did the original Quake campaign, and while these were the only official addons sold for Quake, several third party expansions and total conversions exist that also had retail releases. Two of these, Shrak and Malice, were published on CD-ROM in 1997 by Quantum Axcess. 

4A Games have done something quite awesome. They've released a SDK for people to make full game modifications of Metro Exodus.

Half-Life: Alyx LEVITATION is an incredibly ambitious mod for Valve's amazing VR FPS and it's out now!

Entropy : Zero 2 is a very popular and well reviewed Half-Life 2 mod, and the developer has recently announced the public testing of Native Linux support and Steam Input gamepad support.

Voxel Doom is a mod for GZDoom which replaces 2D characters and props from Doom with fully 3D voxel-based models.

Half-Life 2: VR Mod is on the way and will hit official Beta on Steam on September 16th, so I guess I'll be playing it all over again then.
