SteamDB is a bit like a drug for some of us waiting on games, and today my usual check-in resulted in finding PAYDAY 2 with some nice looking Linux additions.

Magicka 2 seems like a pretty cool game, and great that we now have it on Linux too. The idea of battling away by casting spells is quite cool, and this new DLC looks insane.

Warsow, a rather stylish and free online shooter hit the big 2.0 release recently, and it seems to be pretty good.

While sites like STEAM and GOG are often the go-to for our gaming pleasure, there are still some indie gems hidden in the corners of the Internet that forgo these venerable platforms. One of those is Starsector, an open world space combat sim set in the distant future where civilization is slowly collapsing.

Stardust Galaxy Warriors looks like another good one for the Steam Machine race, as it combines good looking visuals with fun looking gameplay.

The Mean Greens - Plastic Warfare is a pretty damn good looking action game about plastic toy soldiers, reminds me of a game I played like it years ago. The developers are interested in a Linux version, and want testers.

I've been sent Sunken by a user, and I have to say it looks like quite a good addition to the action RPG genre, the good news is the developer is already planning a Linux version.

Lucius II is a game we sadly overlooked, once again due to it not showing up in Steam's new releases section due to adding the Linux version later. Lucius II has a unique twist where you play the bad guy and wreak havoc as the son of the devil.

Hatred, that weird shooter about killing anyone and everyone is now in testing for Linux the developer has confirmed, and SteamDB shows it too.

I'm a big fan of Dying Light, even with it being a bit iffy at times for me, but the general gameplay is fantastic. The developers have announced a newer Dying Light: Enhanced Edition is coming

If you like first-person dungeon crawling, I seriously suggest you take a look at The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians.

Hybrid Beasts was sent to me on twitter earlier, and after watching the trailer I'm pretty much sold. It looks like it could be good fun.

Hollow Knight's trailer took me by surprise, not only do the graphics and animations look really sweet, but the gameplay actually looks rather good.
