We already let you know last month that Battleblock Theatre would have a Linux version, the best news is the date is now set for the release and it will be simultaneous on Linux & Windows.

The Natural Selection 2 team has announced the Kodiac update & DLC release further refining the already beautiful game. The patch fixes many issues and introduces a new DLC map with customization options.

Darkwood is a top-down, oldschool, sandbox survival horror set in a procedurally generated, open world. It was funding on Indiegogo nearly a year ago and it is built using Unity, sadly even with Unity it won't see day 1 Linux support.

Legend of Dungeon is the highly colourful mix of RPG and procedural death labyrinth game types for fun results. This update is a whopper and finally adds saving your game, magic isn't it!

TowerFall Ascension is a highly praised indie game originally exclusive to the Ouya. Thankfully it is no longer exclusive and may even come to Linux.

From out of nowhere strikes another port in progress. Some of you may remember Cortex Command from a humble bundle a few years back.

The Dungeoning is a new and very colourful roguelike platformer on Desura for Linux. Featuring random levels and permanent death to keep you frustrated.

We have to wait a little while longer to play Divinity: Original Sin folks as the developers have now confirmed Linux will see a release when it exits Early Access.

Vangers was originally release in 1998 and it's now on Steam for Linux with a reworked edition. It has a complex story-line and is all-out weird.

It seems like we are getting quite a few old gems nowadays, although this is most likely using Dosbox it's still nice to be able to have sales for it counted for Linux.

Today I took a look at Insanity's Blade a game Kickstarted at the end of last year. Insanity's Blade is a real retro-game in the sense that it feels like I'm playing on a Sega Megadrive.

Starsector previously known as Starfarer is a game I have been following since early 2011 and I am glad to say it's still being fully worked on. Starsector is an open-world single-player space-combat, roleplaying, exploration and economic game.

This is a long named game, "Because this is literally the best we could come up with: Retribution" hah nice. It's a very pretty looking arcade shooter and quite random (you can fire cheese!).

Star Citizen is a game you cannot help but get excited over. A new video has surfaced from PAX where parts of the game where shown off and it doesn't disappoint.

Infectonator Survivors is a Randomized Permadeath Survival Simulator that combines RTS, Tower Defence, Roguelike, and Management-Simulation gameplay. Currently in Steam's Early Access and it caught my eye, luckily the developers told me they have plans for Linux.

Black Ice is a fantastic looking FPS game with some RPG elements thrown in, it's awesome because it's like playing a shooter in Tron land.
