Black Ice is a game I have followed for a long time (and personally purchased a copy) and it just released a rather nice update. If you're an FPS fan and looking for something to sink some time into, this could be what you need.

The developers at Itch.io have certainly built a decent webstore, and their new desktop client is pretty slick too. The Itch app is now on Greenlight, which is getting them lots of free publicity, as well as being quite amusing.

Something I have found recently is that the games store Itch.io isn't just great for discovering smaller indie games and game jams, it also seems to be quite the hub for fonts!

This past week I played a small game by an interesting character who goes by Kitty Horrorshow. To call her games horror in a conventional video game sense would be misleading. They're abstract, graphically primitive, albeit striking, and tend to leave me with a lingering sense of dread and loneliness, as well as a sense of otherworldly wonder.
