Happy New Year from GamingOnLinux

By - | Views: 18,558
As 2016 comes to an end for me here in the UK, I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year. Where's the rum? Just kidding, I already have a glass of rum sat right next to me.

I will be taking the rest of tonight off and tomorrow from posting articles to take a small (and hopefully earned) break, but I will be back Monday! Unless something big happens this weekend (unlikely).

GOL itself is now seven and a half years old, and hopefully we will be around for another seven at least!

I have plenty lined up for 2017 and our content won't be slowing down that's for sure. I am also planning plenty of upgrades for the website, so keep an eye out for that.

I would again like to thank all of my Patreon supporters for funding me as we wouldn't be here without you.

Happy New Year, Liam. And Happy New Year to all. This was my first year taking Linux seriously as a desktop OS (I had been using it for servers for a while). I've had my issues with it, but it's still a way better OS than Windows (though I still enjoy Mac OS as well). Hopefully the market share will grow more this year. Which would add more users and patreon supporters for you, Liam.

No rum, but I did chug a quart of chocolate milk after work. Here's to another year of big releases, and great posts.
