Ubuntu Gaming Laptop from System 76!

By - | Views: 5,110
System 76 the Ubuntu based computer supplier has brought out a Gaming Laptop named "Bonobo" (what an odd name!).

It has some pretty beefy internals including a top of the line dedicated Nvidia GPU (base model has 3GB memory!), well top of the line everything it seems including a back lit keyboard (nice touch!):

Along with that it comes standard with a 17.3" screen (1920x1080 resolution) so it's not exactly the most portable unit around mind you!

While I think these guys are fighting the good fight an option of something other than Ubuntu would probably be a nice touch for some people.

It comes with a rather hefty price tag though, brace yourself, $1499!

If I had the money I know what laptop I would be buying myself! Wouldn't mind getting a chance to test out it's performance one day!

Shame I don't see any supplier like this in the UK! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Shame I don't actually have a job right now or I would be all over this. :D Still, the laptop seems a bit overpowered considering all the games available for Linux!
