I was just doing some curious Internet searching to see what prompted Take-Two Interactive (Borderlands, Xcom, etc.) to start releasing games with Linux support. To my surprise, it goes back much further than I anticipated. Here is an [article from 2000](http://www.linuxtoday.com/developer/2000012803204PR) about the company releasing Linux games.
