Iluminated keyboard
_J_30000 Apr 12, 2016
Hi

are there any iluminated / gaming keyboards outthere that are configurable in linux?
The mouse I have (Razer) is configurable for both DPI and ilumination via razercfg / qrazercfg
it would be great to have fully customisable keyboard - especially for some games that have like groups of keys assigned that I got "highlight" to memorise them better...

thanks

I use the Roccat Ryos MK Pro, and it has excellent third-party drivers written using specifications provided by Roccat. The drivers also came nicely packaged in the repos for my openSUSE Leap 42.1 system.

Definitely recommended!

Also a Roccat user here, but annoyed by the LED life though, plenty of mine don't work now.

The Corsair RGB keyboards have an independently developed open source driver: https://github.com/ccMSC/ckb

It can be used to do some pretty fun stuff:
