Title: Intel gaphics HD 530, suitable for Linux gaming?
whm1974 1 Aug 2016
I was looking over the sample builds of The Tech Report's April Build Guide and was thinking if we took the Step-Up build and remove the video card and use the Intel HD 530 iGPU instead, how suitable would this be for a cheap Linux gaming build?

If nothing else this could be a good base system for someone who is planning on adding a good video card later on.

What are you guys thoughts on this?

Well I was thinking along the lines of someone building a good base system and adding a video card later when their budget allows.

After using a couple SSDs in my system during the last the three years, I doubt I can live without one.
