I have RX 480 4GB and need to OC it a bit. Do you know how can I do it on Linux?
I don't want to flash GPU and can't OC it in BIOS. I have been trying to install AMD ADL SDK version 10 from AMD site ( http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-s...brary-adl-sdk/ ) for whole day but with no lucky results. During compilation I got errors:
In file included from ../include/adl_sdk.h:19:0, from main.c:15:
../include/adl_structures.h:1757:2: error: unknown type name ‘wchar_t’
wchar_t strPathName[ADL_MAX_PATH];
^~~~~~~
I also tried running in the terminal:
echo 5 > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/pp_sclk_od
echo 5 > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/pp_mclk_od
But it only made my GPU run at idle 300 MHz frequency during gpu-intensive and gaming apps.
Command
watch --interval=1 cat /sys/class/drm/card0/device/pp_dpm_sclk
Showed sth like:
300 MHz *
1823 Mhz
Can you help me with solving this problem or suggest some other working OC tools?
