Does this happen to you guys? In the upper-left corner of my screenshot, you can see a rectangle. That rectangle is essentially a piece of my desktop wallpaper. I know that Steam causes this because it goes away when I close Steam. It happens with any game even if I have the overlay turned off. It remains on my desktop even when I'm not in a game.

OK... maybe I got it to go away. I'll post back an update in a day or so. I changed the FPS counter from the upper-right to the upper-left, and then I turned the FPS counter off. I had to restart Steam in between each of those Settings changes. The rectangle is gone for the moment.
