Thanks Skully.

I managed to get in early this week after missing last week. The snow in that middle stage really helped me appreciate the sun in the following two.

I made it pretty clean, for the first time I didn't need any resets. I guess having snow banks alongside the road helped. I almost came undone on the final stage when I rolled the car and (in a separate incident) cracked my windscreen. A definite improvement over my past efforts though. :)

Sweden went well for me. No major incidents. The escort handles well in the snow.

I found Monaco really tough. I was going well on the first stage until the final quarter, then lost a couple of minutes recovering from various spin outs. That set the tone. My only clean run was the second-last stage, which was pretty much all asphalt.

Then on the final stage, I ran off the track in the first couple of minutes. I tried to get back on track manually but went over the edge and totaled my Escort. Should have hit the recovery button. :(

Had a perfectly clean run in Monaco. Didn't even scratch the paint on the car. Love the Escort. I used to own one. I miss it now.

Made it through Finland in one piece. Not real clean, but better than Monaco for sure. Needed a couple of recoveries at least, and wasn't quite able to repair to 100% a couple of times.

Had some time to participate in finland also. first 2 stages i felt the gears were a bit too short, but i still managed to win with quite a big margin. Changed gears a bit longer for the rest of the stages. Enjoyed a lot. Had few moments on some stages, but overall quite clean and smooth driving.

I could not get the escort to ride the jumps quite right. I had an incident or 2 on the first 2 stages due to it. Rest was clean but I drove slower and more careful. I need to find a setup that works in finland for next time or drive a different car.

Germany was great for me. I enjoy Germany a lot.

I had a much better week this week. I wasn't real quick, but only needed one recovery, and my max repair time was 20 or so minutes. A far more enjoyable drive than last week at least.
Xpander 6 Jul 2019
Greece done by me as well. Had fun and few mistakes here and there. First stage i had crash into ditch and had to reverse out of it, lost about 10 sec at least. The rest of the stages were better, few spins on some stages, but mostly i felt like i was driving pretty fast.

Driving after months with just a couple shakedowns wasn't the best idea! However I had fun in most stages, except the last one where I lost the tire in the beginning ):
Skully 7 Jul 2019
In Greece I hit a tree on stage 1 and had a time consuming spin on the last stage. Everything else went well.

I went flying down a hill on the last stage in Greece:-(
Xpander 13 Jul 2019
UK Done. Enjoyed. Had a small fieldtrip on second stage and small crash into fences on third. Rest went smooth and fast.

I just managed to sneak this into the end of my weekend (which I couldn't do with the '60s, since those events ended 7.30pm Sunday my time).

I also very much enjoyed the UK (was it really just Wales?). I incurred one penalty, but had no major issues. In one of the stages I even managed to come within a minute of the lead, which is enough to make me happy. :)

So does your navigator moonlight as an auctioneer? 'Cause his calls are too fast for me to track.
