Title: GOG Serious Sam 1 and 2 - Wine installs?

Using Ubuntu Mate 18.04 - How are people currently playing these older games on modern Linux distros? I tried playing them recently and I had a few things off with the resolution and on some maps the textures bled forever.

Trying to get some Co-op action going for my wife and I.

For some reason it doesn't seem to have "Serious Sam Fusion" engine on the GOG release. On Steam you can play these titles using Fusion engine directly on Linux (i.e. no need for WINE).

Yeah I read up on it. Looks good but unless it's available to download and execute on the side, I'm gonna keep looking for a proper wine wrapper or something.
