Of interest to Linux users is this FAQ:
"What platforms will T2 run on?
Initially it will be PC only (Windows 7 and 8). There is a stretch goal listed to port to other hardware platforms which would result in a simultaneous release. Even without the stretch goal, we expect to port to Mac within 90 days of release and then Linux, SteamOS some time after that.
For mobile fans, we expect to have the new engine running versions of Trainz for tablets and smartphones in 2015."
