I immediately went to https://www.prophecygames.com/support to request they consider linux support for this title. Either natively or via Valve's Proton. Problem is their support ticket system isn't working (for me). Nothing happens when I click "Submit".
I played the heck out of Tribes Ascent back in the good old days. It was a multiplayer shooter in which traversal of the map was incredibly fun. You had to learn to slide down slopes and fling yourself through the air to get anywhere efficiently.
Just wanted to let you know this is happening and maybe some of you will even make their voices heard and convince the devs to support linux.
Have a nice day!
But I played the shite out of Starseige: Tribes and Tribes 2 and Tribes: Vengeance back in the day....... I havnt thought about Tribes in freaking years......
Tribes 2 was awesome and by far my favourite Tribes game....... I wish we could just get a HD version of that.......
It was truly amazing to take part in the large 20+v20+ clan wars back in those days....... Even more so coming off the small 8v8 and 10v10 QuakeWorld TeamFortress clan wars...... I do miss those days of gaming..... Just before gaming became super mainstream and online games became full of douches........
Thanks for the info Zenzio...... Will definitely be checking that out.....
Yeah..... Remember LAN Parties????....... They were the shit back then too.......
