Quoting: GuestExplain to a Proton noob, how is it Flatpak if it's a Windows game on Steam?

I'm interested in these games BTW. I have them on my developer account but I want to buy them on my own account. I only played about an hour into the first one, they are really sweet.

Sorry for the confusion, I have the Steam client installed as flatpak.

Steam from Flatpak. Not the game itself.

The flatpak is legit, but not recommended by Valve as far as I know.
Also I ran the Benchmark on Steam Deck:

Proton: proton-8.0-5c
DXVK: 2.3-21-g1b31aa5d
Game Settings: Highest
AA: Enabled
Better Rain: Enabled
Better Light shafts: Enabled
Resolution: 1280x720 (hooked up to a 1080p TV hence it is not 800p)

Best out of two:
Min FPS: 36
Max FPS: 84
Avg FPS: 52

Without Gameworks:
Better Rain: Disabled
Better Light shafts: Disabled

Best out of two:
Min FPS: 36
Max FPS: 84
Avg FPS: 55

Game From: GOG
Wine 9.14
Game Settings: Highest, AA on
Resolution: 2560x1440

Min FPS: 97
AVG FPS: 165
Max FPS: 241

I bit late, but thank you. I was wondering if there is any point in trying to run it on the Steam Deck since I'm not that happy about Origins' performance.
