Playing PUBG on Steam-Linux

Has anyone had issues playing PUBG on linux? I've tried every Proton version that I have downloaded in my library, and none of them seem to work.

It is not possible to play PUBG on Linux under Proton, due to the anti-cheat. The game has an unsupported rating for Steam Deck support, and it has a Borked rating on ProtonDB.

If you don't mind playing a different game with similar gameplay, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has a battle royale game mode called Danger Zone. You may also want to try the original ARMA 3 mod which PUBG is based on.

Unfortunately, I don't think the lack of Linux support in popular games is going to change unless Linux gets to about 20% or 30% market share.
