For example, should I use the Prism Launcher, or the Modrinth launcher/app, or something else? Is using a different launcher from the standard one even required/recommended? I read that with the malware problem from last year, if you were using the Prism flatpak it meant the malware didn't work, so is that generally to be recommended?
I'm very happy to RTFM, but if someone can point me in the right direction so I'm at least reading the right stuff I'd be very grateful — for example, if there are things that are generally considered sound recommendations or best practice (or dodgy stuff to stay away from). Thank you in advance!
The "Fabulously Optimized" mod pack is a good starting point. You might want to add the WayGL mod as well if you run a wayland session.
