Title: What will be the next boost in Linux desktop marketshare.
LoudTechie 22 hours ago
The Steam Deck with Proton, Win10 EOL with the RAM crisis, Microsoft's Khan sanctions.
Each of them boosted desktop Linux in some way.
What will be the next.
Will China and Russia finally get their Microsoft addiction under control?
Will Microsoft introduce a moving processor whitelist, where your processor's support will be uncertain after 2 years?
Will the GabeCube or SteamFrame move entire markets?
Will the EU get so spooked from US influence, that they boost libre office into the stratosphere?
Will Microsoft pull another round of MS store boosting.
Will Valve make Darling, so easy that it can be used to bypass Wine limitations(like Wayland does).
Those are just educated guesses, someon with commentary on them or a better guess.
