Gaming: Continue playing Cyberpunk 2077 (started a week ago).

Non-gaming: Picking up some books from the library to read. Lawn mower seasonal maintenance that I've put off for two months.

Okay. First goal achieved. 🌟

I hope to finish silent hill 2 (OG) this weekend, I'm currently in the Lakeview hotel. If the time doesn't fly by like any other weekend,I'll probably do some hauling in ets 2 or start a newly purchased game ( the steam winter sales ), most likely shin megami tensei Vengeance or max Payne 3.

Me and the fiancée have been continuing our run through ARC Raiders, and one of the smaller beans will no doubt pull me in for some more Overwatch 2 as well.

I really want to play some more God of War Ragnorok though. First bit seemed really good.

Making the preserves must have been such a jarring experience you forgot to provide the bad joke! Here's one for free:

(Please don't be to kiwi-tical of my attempt at humor!)

Some notes: After peeling, I've used 4.5 kg of kiwis, 500 g of frozen Cherries from last year's harvest and 1 kg of frozen strawberries. Several attempts had been made to convince me that 3:1 fruit to sugar ratio would not be sweet enough, but that is wrong.

Only one of the two zoos keeps kiwis, but they are kept behind the scenes, so I haven't seen the bird in person.

I bought an OLED monitor, and it has great HDR so I've been messing around with that in Hyprland and it's been amazing

Just discovered Remedy games recently! played through Control then Alan wake 1 and 2 in the last month or so and now on Quantum Break.

I've gone down a Diablo rabbit hole, so I'm currently working my way through hell in Diablo 2 Resurrected, but I also need to play Indika before eight pm on Monday since my gaming discord is doing a game club on it. I probably should have done that yesterday instead of playing D2 since I have laundry today. :D

Monday morning, I barely came out of the hotel.No new game was installed, let alone moving any trailer.

This weekend I was achievement hunting on This War of Mine (I have one left before I have to use Proton to access the final DLC!)

The wife was replaying the original Frostpunk.

I wasn't really forced to finish it, but it would have been hard(er) to participate in the conversation without finishing it. Luckily it's only 4-5 hours long, so it turned into a rather pleasant Sunday afternoon/evening after I decided to refund it on Steam and buy it for my Playstation instead so I could sit on the sofa in front of the big-big screen.

Regarding the 2D/3D parts, without spoiling too much, they are distinctly separate parts of the game that you move between at given moments. The 2D parts are mostly classic platforming while the 3D is more spacial navigation puzzles. The shift between them is a narrative marker letting you know where you are in the story.

All in all I had a really good time with the game, although a couple of puzzles and platforming sections did frustrate me a bit. It could be argued that the game didn't really need to be all that much game, since some of its best moments come from characters just walking in a straight line and having conversations about its core themes. But I'm also not sure I'd have bothered to sit down and watch a movie or short film telling the same story.
