How to setup OpenMW for modern Morrowind on Linux / SteamOS and Steam Deck
How to install Hollow Knight: Silksong mods on Linux, SteamOS and Steam Deck
For the past few years I have spent an unreal amount of time trying to improve the Linux gaming coverage on websites such as Wikipedia and MobyGames. I am confident for the most part that Wikipedia has benefited greatly by this, though MobyGames and its archaic submission system has made things there much more difficult and time consuming. Just today I reached a new goal, getting more Linux screenshots on the website.

What I really want is some screenshots of Eshcalon: Book II but can not figure out how to take them.
Eschalon you can set the game to run in windowed mode so there should be no problem taking screenshots (PrtSc button). You can also set Gimp to take a screenshot after a timer has elapsed, although you don't get much control over what it shoots. Eschalon is turn based so shouldn't be a problem getting a decent shot.
The Window Mode does not work for me, as it does not allow me to specify my resolution:
Which means I need to use something like KSnapshot or The GIMP to do it, which is a shame since it really should have a way of taking screenshots in-game.
You can use KSnapshot to capture only Windows under cursor and disable Window decorations - this should work just fine.
BTW - how did you take the other screenshots ? used the in-game screenshot feature ?
Yes, if it is available I see no reason why not to use it. I do have a few screenshots created with KSnapshot of Book II now, just need two more and I will feel satisfied enough to upload them.
Here are some screenshots for you but you will have to crop them.
Thank you for the screenshots, I will add them to the pile. What I would really like though is a screenshot of the Main Menu (I can not get a proper one as I only have the demo at the moment) and one showing combat.
Email sent with the screenshots, they are too big to attach here.
Thank you Maxim and RustyBolts, I think I have enough to upload. :D
Edit: RustyBolts, the screenshots you sent have part of the bottom interface chopped off. Do you have original screenshots that show the whole thing? If not I can not put them on MobyGames, needs to be the whole interface. :(
