Easy Delivery Co. from Sam C / Oro Interactive is a delivery driving sim that mixes together classic PlayStation styled visuals, with bouncing physics and a slightly spooky atmosphere. The developer recently put up a first demo, which works great on Linux with Proton.
More about it: "In Easy Delivery Co., players take on the role of a delivery driver in a once-lively scenic mountain town now plagued by strange weather. Explore an ordinary town filled with odd secrets as you make deliveries and get to know its mysterious residents. Manage your energy, fuel, and temperature while navigating the challenges that come with each package."

It's a fun throwback with the style and gameplay, and one that really captured me. I'm keen to see more in the full game. The developer said "Nothing strange going on, no lore, nothing at all, we promise" — not sure I believe that somehow. What's really going on? I definitely need some more practice with it, after losing a few packages when flooring it and bouncing around.
What to expect from the full release:
- Earn money, buy drastically overpriced gas and uncover the quirks of this strange little town.
- Take in the atmospheric scenery or blitz through the towns (road safety not required).
- A quiet town, curious residents, and maybe a secret or two.
- Unlock radio towers as you progress, each featuring tracks from Lo-Fi, Drum n Bass, and Jungle artists.
- Local split-screen race mode with up to four players.
