From the team that made Judero, the handmade stop-motion digging adventure Mashina is set to arrive on July 31st.
I really love what they're doing with the art in their games, there's truly not many at all that will go to these lengths to make their games stand out in this way. Every single thing in the game is made out of various materials and animated using traditional stop-motion techniques. The gameplay looks just a weird and wacky as the art-style.
You play as Mashina, a friendly mining robot tasked with finding minerals to help mend, build and nurture her quirky robot community. The gameplay in Mashina is divided into two distinct sections; a deep, mysterious underground full of trinkets and minerals and a vibrant, fully explorable 3d overground.
