Moonlight Pulse is a metroidvania set inside an immense interstellar organism now with a Linux version

Set inside an immense interstellar organism, Moonlight Pulse looks like a fun metroidvania and recently it gained a Native Linux version. It was originally released back in April 2024, and now has an overall Very Positive rating on Steam.

More about it: "Team up, learn new abilities and explore a surreal world in this seamless 2D platforming adventure set within the body of a colossal spacefaring turtle. Traverse flowing veins, sparking neurons, and gastric hazards as the world itself breathes around you. Join the heroic Curative Agents, who fight to protect this strange sanctuary from a swarm of ever-hungry interstellar parasites."

For this one the developers recommend you play with a controller. Valve actually rated it Steam Deck Verified back in April 2025, although that was using Proton since it was before the Native Linux build existed.
