Hello Games launched another huge free update for the open world space survival game No Man's Sky, with a big new Corvette ship class you piece together.
Corvettes are a modular customizable multi-crew ship, so you can finally get up and walk around along with being able to bring you friends with you. These Corvettes can be outfitted with lots of different rooms and cockpits to make it a proper home away from home, along with a special mission radar for multi-crew missions. And, you can even get out and float around in space if that's your thing.
There's also a graphics upgrade for translucent surfaces like glass, NVIDIA DLSS4 support was added, there's new localised character lighting and so much more. With the Corvettes you can even park up somewhere up high in the atmosphere, and skydive out of it.

Simply incredible, I can't believe how much they're still adding to No Man's Sky all these years later. The amount of different features it has for players going solo or in groups is now pretty amazing.
There's also a "Deep Dive" video below narrated by Sean Murray, who just casually drops in a little info about their next game Light No Fire and how the tech is being developed for both games.

Sadly, this game has left my system behind. I can't get a stable framerate at all any more, so I've had to give it up, at least until I eventually get a new machine.I wonder how (un)playable it would be on my machine with Ryzen 5600 and Radeon 6800? It's basically my childhood dream game, yet it slide from my radar after release controversy and then I never got to it.
