One for casual gamers to highlight this morning, as Maktala: Slime Lootfest has a demo now available to try if you live incremental games. Here it's all about slaying as many slimes as possible, to go through a big tech tree to keep on unlocking many more ways to slay the slimes.

If you've not played an incremental game before, they're also known as clickers and idle games. In this case though, you're an active participant using your mouse to actually dish out the damage. It's one of those switch your brain off type of experiences, and there's plenty of them that are very popular.

The new demo includes most of the main features of the game. The full game adds a whole lot more of it including special shiny monsters, a mining system and much more.
