While it's not quite Verified for Steam Deck just yet, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault should be a reasonably good experience. It's rated Playable by Valve, with a note that some text is a bit too small. The developer has confirmed they plan to solve that as soon as possible too.

So what is it? From the Steam page: "Dive deep into Action-RPG with roguelike elements and a tale about new beginnings. With no coin to your name, you and the other townsfolk find yourselves stranded in the distant village of Tresna. Now, it’s up to you to get back on your feet and turn your humble shop into the beating heart of the village’s wealth. Explore dangerous dungeons, gather relics, sell them, and reinvest in your friends’ establishments. Unlock new weapons, armor, shop decorations, and—more importantly—restore hope that things can one day turn around."

It launched into Early Access on November 19th, and they've already put in work to ensure it continues to get better on Steam Deck too. The first hotfix has released that notes:

Performance

  • First round of performance improvements. We’ve made changes under the hood as an initial move to reduce hitches, stuttering, and improve overall smoothness.

Steam Deck

  • Optimized default settings. Steam Deck now uses a configuration tuned for more stable performance from the moment you launch, so you can focus on looting and selling instead of tweaking options.
  • Steam Deck → PC graphics note. If you play on Steam Deck and then jump back to PC, your graphics settings may be set to Low automatically. You can raise them again from the settings menu on your PC. We know this is inconvenient and will work to solve it as soon as we can.

Balance

  • Easier Easy Mode. Easy mode is now a bit more forgiving: enemies deal less damage and have less health.
  • Herald adjustments. The Herald boss fight has been tuned to feel fairer while still offering a solid challenge.
  • Earlier shop unlocks. The first Endless Vault challenge requirement has been reduced from 10,000 coins to 7,000, so players can unlock new content and upgrades sooner.

Miscellaneous

  • Ultrawide support. Fixed compatibility issues with 3440x1440, enabling proper ultrawide support.
  • Added cursor lock to improve the experience when playing in full screen, windowed and borderless modes.

And, they've put up a Steam Deck video for it too, take a look below:
